Morehead State’s résumé is built around a handful of encouraging moments but marred by a string of damaging road defeats, so the committee will see a team that has shown it can win coached games yet lacks the signature road or neutral victories that command respect. The neutral win over ULM and gritty outings like the road win at Southern Indiana and the close victory at SIUE are the flashes that show this roster can close tight games, and home wins over Arkansas Little Rock and SEMO give the profile some substance. Those positives are offset by lopsided losses at Georgia, Clemson, and Murray State and difficult results at Wake Forest and IUPUI that make evaluators question consistency away from their building.
